As a Painting Contractor, Mike Ausherman Painting Inc. serves central Pennsylvania, providing interior painting, exterior painting, faux finishes and wallpapering.  We focus on the preservation and beautification of the interior and exterior surfaces of quality homes, businesses, church, commercial and institutional buildings. We do provide estimates and we guarantee our work.

Our History

Mike Ausherman began the Painting Contractor business in 1979 as an experienced painter. Being an independent contractor was a family tradition with relatives who were successful plumbers, masons and builders. Like many painters, Mike worked alone, perfecting his skills and building a client base of homeowners.  By the mid to late 1980's, Mike had hired employees, invested in equipment and vehicles, and expanded the business to make it even more professional.

Mike Ausherman Painting Inc. became a member of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), and Mike became a founder and officer of the local central Pennsylvania PDCA Chapter. Then, in 1997, after thorough testing and examination by the PDCA, Mike Ausherman Painting Inc. became recognized as central Pennsylvania's only nationally-certified Residential Painting Contractor. The recognition verifies our outstanding ethics, policies, procedures and unmatched customer service.
